KnightS* (KS-gaming)

KnightS* is an international multigaming organization. Their goal is to reach the highest level possible in competitive gaming and provide their players with the best support they can offer. This will be achieved by gathering not only the top players of each gaming discipline but also by giving upcoming talent a chance to expand their gaming career.

KnightS* was founded in 2003 by Ludwin “Quest” de Bruijn in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. It started out with one team competing in Call of Duty. This team became a big success and won for example the Dutch Championships in 2004. After the success of this team, KnightS* decided to expand. Since then our players have been visiting a lot of national and international tournaments being very successful and having won over 100 awards.

In April 2010 after a period of inactivity Richard “Nafy” Leermakers took over the position of Ludwin “Quest” de Bruijn and decided to relaunch KnightS*. After a period of organizing KnightS* returned in January 2011 with a new structure but the same vision. Now we can focus again on our only goal; reach the highest level possible in competitive gaming and provide our players with the best possible support.

The roots of KnightS* start with Call of Duty 1. The organization became very popular with this team when it won the final against Fnatic on the Dutch LAN event Netgamez 2004C. From then on KnightS* has had multiple teams on different Call of Duty games. The current Call of Duty 4 team led by Rik “rikko_0″ Vervoort fits perfectly in with all the other Call of Duty teams we had in the past.

KnightS* has always been active at the most important RTS games. Now most of the RTS community has shifted do StarCraft 2 which means we just can’t stay behind. Our StarCraft 2 team is led by Philip “Piet Friet” Spitters who is quite new in the RTS scene but a very experienced team captain.

KnightS* has been active at the sports game FIFA since FIFA 2003. From then on we have always been part of the Top 3 in the Benelux with resulting in a lot of FIFA achievements. Our FIFA teams have always been under the supervision of FIFA legend Ludwin “Quest” de Bruijn. As is our current team which is led by Rick “Jimi” Hendrix, both very experienced as FIFA player and as team captain.
